Yesterday we went to the “treehouse museum” in Ogden. It was a pretty cool. The had all kinds of stuff for kids to play with. They had a “step into a story” theme, but they weren’t extrememly consistent with that…they had huge U.S. and Utah maps which I thought was really cool. So did Adadlyn.
It’s a lot clearer today and I think it is supposed to to stay that way for a while. It has been raining for a couple weeks in Utah. They are having problems with mudslides taking out roads and houses.
I hung out with Libby yesterday. We went to the “This is the place” monument. It was cloudy and rainy so we loitered on the replica hotel’s front porch. Then we just went and watched the news to see if we were going to be on it. The mayor of Ogden did a press conference in the Treehouse Museum and we all sat there and watched. Given that, you know, there were mud slides and rocks destroying houses, our story wasn’t given all that much priority and didn’t air.
