03.10.06movie review: thumbsuckerYou would think that Thumbsucker would be a movie that I would love. It has an interesting story that is full of eccentric characters, the acting is great, the cinematography is engaging, yet I'm trying really hard to think what is keeping me from completely liking Thumbsucker. 03.09.06movie review: novemberYeah, I've seen a lot of movies recently. I was actually at work when I saw a coworker had a copy of November. All I knew about the movie was that it played at Sundance last year or something. Work can be pretty boring, so I popped it into the DVD player. My first realization was...hey, this isn't film.
