After driving for hours without seeing anything in the Mojave Desert (seriously), I thundered down the mountains in the old Grand Cherokee and rolled into Los Angeles. The GPS was congenial and as I wound my way around the streets of Burbank, I realized that Warner Brothers studios was right ahead of me. Warner Brothers. I turned right. I drove up the canyon and say Universal City. As in NBC Universal. Universal studios. Wow.
I unpacked my bags (sort of) in our apartment in the Hollywood Hills and spent most of the evening preparing script cards for the production meeting the next day. I’m out of gas and I need to take a trip to the laundromat, but at least I am here.

WOW! Hollywood hills… boy, I’d say YOU’VE MADE IT BUDDY! Be safe, be good and have fun! We miss you out here in the good ol’ South!
Yay, I’m glad you got there okay. And I can’t believe you didn’t take your camera….
I’m sorry to say I had to look up David Thewlis but I know who he is. I’m so bad with names. Let me know if you see Britney Spears and let her know I’d like to give her a talking to. Tsk, tsk.
Anyway you better keep us southerners in the loops :)
I too went to look it up. LUPIN?! That is AWESOME! See if you would’ve said, “the dude who played Lupin” it would’ve been cooler from the start…
Yay for making it!! Now the fun can begin!
Oh, and when you buy laundry detergent…go with the Gain Joyful Expressions Apple Mango Tango…it smells so good. I know…what would you do without me?!
MISS YA!
