05.15.08the birth and death of a dayI always imagine the same thing when I hear this song. In my mind's eye, I see me rocketing towards the earth from space. The friction of the air causes an explosion of fire around me that doesn't burn my skin but leaves a trail of smoke in the sky. I hear the wind roaring in my ears and my body shakes from the vibrations. I see my face. I close my eyes. And I smile.
