I skipped class yesterday and headed to Magnolia. I had a pretty good time. I didn’t do anything necessarily special, but this morning was pretty cool. I woke up (was woken up, rather) at six by Mom who wanted to have Dad tell me how to fix my brake lights. He told me…I remembered something about duct tape and a penny and went back to bed without even removing my jeans.
I was woken up again a couple of hours later by Mom who asked me if I wanted to go swimming. Seeing as how I’ve never turned down an opportunity to go swimming, I decided to go. It was fun. I did a couple laps, dove off the pool, tried to pull Bev under, slid down the slide, etc….
After we swam for a while we came back to the house and Mom cooked breakfast: grits, bacon, (Bev had chocolate pancakes), eggs, and muffins. Mmmmm, muffins.
Well, seeing as it was around 10:30 when we finished breakfast, I decided to skip my class today. I came back to go into work and as it turns out, I don’t think I needed to go in. Now I am just waiting for my Netflix to come in. Whoohoo Netflix!
