8am

Eight in the morning is so early. So early. I guess I am exagerrating, but this past summer I was sleeping in until 10am, something I hadn’t done in…ever. My 8am class is pretty cool, though. It is Romantic Literature (as in Lit from the Romantic period, no Fabios here). I love English classes because they are so analytical and slightly fruity. I am not sure if this is a result of the 8am or the class itself.

We read “The Tyger” by Blake. I don’t know what the deal is, but no one ever talks in these classes. The teacher obviously isn’t one of those teachers that blows your opinion off, he tries to validate it somehow (even if I want to yell at you for saying random things that have nothing to do with anything…stupid girl two rows over).

So, what happens is the professor asks, “so is the God that created the Lamb also the God that created the Tyger?” I raised my hand trying to beat out Miss I-Know-Everything-About-English-Lit and I do. I say, “Yes, He is. The God who created something as beautiful as the Lamb could create something as beautiful as the Tyger-even dangerous beauty.” For that I get a “Well said.” English class makes me feel smart again. :-)

My “Psych. and Law class looks boring, but has a cool teacher which should compensate.

I need to mow the grass tomorrow morning.

My posts usually start with me doing a Flickr photo search for some random keyword. I think I searched for “alarm clock” in this instance. Then I just pick one that looks interesting and click Flickr’s “Blog This” button and start rambling.
