take off time

Finally. Finally I have the internet at home. I’m not blogging from there…but from my brother’s place in B’ham where I am sitting his kids with my sister.

I officially have a Georgia driver’s license.

Last week I did the offline edit for a jewlery store in Atlanta. So, unless the agency changes it, something I edited will be on TV…in Atlanta.

I watched Empire Records this week for the first time in about 7 years. Such a cool movie, why did so many people hate it?

I was watching the first episode of Lost with my roommate last night (I managed to get him addicted after watching only one episode. The epidemic must spread!) and we were talking about how Kate needed to take shoes from a dead person and how weird it would be. I then wondered how weird it actually would be. It seems as though when you are actually in a weird situation, that you don’t really think about it. I remember when I was in Brazil and we were caught past midnight in another city. The busses had stopped running and we couldn’t wake up the guys in town that we knew. One would think that being stranded in a strange foreign city past midnight would cause a bit of panic, but for my part anyway I was just wondering how hard the sidewalk would be to sleep on and wondering where the nearest park was (the grass would probably be softer). We eventually got the guys up and I slept on a thin blanket on the tile floor.

I still wonder if the grass would have been softer.
