I tried to find fishing line at Home Depot and then I tried at target. Nothing. Target had fishing poles, but not fishing line. Seriously. David suggested the Intown Ace Hardware on North Highland near our apartment. I said I doubted that they would have it since Home Depot didn’t and as I was about to turn onto Ponce to try the much hated (by me) Walmart on Howell Mill, I decided to heck with it. Turns out that they had it. I am consistently impressed by this little hardware store. When Home Depot couldn’t copy a key for me, they could. Their staff is very nice and helpful. Now, I just walk in, ask if they have (blank) and without hesitation the cashier points to some cranny of the store and low-and-behold there is the fishing line.
So…yeah…Intown Ace on North Highland…good store.
