For me, it never really pretended to be a movie everyone could or would love. It even made fun of itself in a few scenes. I can deal with that. It wasn’t excellent, of course, but as far as mormon movies go, I thought it was good. (But I guess that’s a problem in itself, though, huh? We should be judging movies on a movie basis, not a “mormon movie” basis.)

As for “The RM” and “The Best Two Years” and a host of other mormon movies — well, those are pretty bad.

I do wish mormons would just make movies everyone could relate to, whether they’re mormon or not.
