lockdown

I went into work today and the lab was locked so I’ll have to make up those hours after Christmas vacation. I have splits with the missionaries tonight so I’ll have to stay in town for a bit.

I have another idea for a short that should take too long to do. I don’t have a proper outline yet, but it is based on the noise that we have constantly surrounding us in modern life. It would be even better if the surround sound encoder in my video editor hadn’t expired already.

riiight, retarded me was like, ~clint015….stupid me being retarded. So, what noise surrounds us? I watched Napoleon Dynamite finally and I thought of you, not becuase of his character, but because of the low budgetness of the film…the guy edited it in his apartment on his computer…like you would do….

So, I left a comment, then I tried to delete it…. Noise as in the million voices vying for our attention as well as the literal noise (TVs, computers, cars, etc.). There would be a metaphor and crap.

    Low budget, yeah, I’m cheap.

You know that there’s this contemporary composer (around 1960s) named John Cage who wrote a piece called “4mins33seconds”…and he went on stage, sat down on the piano and just sat there…for 4 mins and 33 seconds. The music was supposed to be all the background noise, people coughing, making comments, being all mad that he wasn’t playing the piano, etc. His point was that music is all around us, in the background. Weird, huh? He also “wrote” a piece called “living room music” that has like tv, video game sounds, etc. Yeah, so you reminded me of that. :D MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
