I finally was able to get my hands on a copy of Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Foer. I’m not even a chapter in and the language is weirding me out. I haven’t decided if I like it or hate it with the intensity of 1000 suns. Maybe i’ll discover in the next chapter.
I stopped by Rick Dowling‘s office to see if I can get into his advanced editing class for the spring. He might already be maxed out in capacity, but right now I am signed up for production management and while I like Dr. Williams (it was in her class I discovered that writing commercials is fairly entertaining), I’d rather have a real production class for my final semester. We’ll see if that pans out.
After scouring Garageband.com for songs for Sympathy, I came up with a few and sent off some emails. I already have two go aheads and it looks like I have one more on the way. There are a couple of songs that we have already put in the film for pacing purposes, but we haven’t heard back from them yet.
