Hauling a Apple G5 on the streets of Atlanta is no picnic, my friend. I repeat no picnic is to be had there.
We did a commercial shoot today. I had fun. Most of my day (when I wasn’t just watching) was spent…well, I’m going to have to explain some stuff first.
We shot on P2 cards which are bigger, expensive versions of the flash cards used in digital cameras. The main benefit of P2 cards – no tape and the video files can be loaded straight into the computer. So, I downloaded the video into the Mac.
The city at night is cool.
Atlanta can suck sometimes, especially when you are waiting for freaking forever for the construction bottleneck on Peachtree to clear up, but there are times when someone rushes down the sidewalk to hold the door open for you when you are shuffling a 20″ LCD monitor to reach the door handle.
That was really nice.
Oh, one more rant. The stupid…STUPID…parking deck is constantly screwing up in one way or another and I end up getting screwed…in one way or another.
