tenho um novo emprego

I had the interview with the Tuscaloosa School Board this morning. I got the job (which was no huge feat, getting a job where you work 3.5 hours a week). What they are going to have me do is sit with this Brazilian kindergardener in class and translate as needed. That will be cooler than tutoring which is what normally is done.

I weird part of the iterview was at the end they gave me a sheet and told me to write down why I think I would be good for the position. Well….okay, but they were right there waiting for me to write it. How weird is that? No pressure or nothing.

My iTunes won’t connect to the music store anymore, which sucks because I was going to get an iPod Shuffle and it works only with the iTunes music store. Dangit, I’m going to have to figure something else out, now.

On a final note, I just received a letter from the bank that confirms that I am a spaz. Apparantly in December, I made a deposit and instead of putting down my account number in the handy space provided, I put my student number. So now I am going to have to find a time that I can go down there and sort it out. How could I have not noticed a deposit going through? Dang, it’s not like I am swimming in the cash now. Hmm, swimming in cash…coins would be unpleasant, but bills, that would be interesting.

Congrats on the job. There was a book called, Everything I needed to know, I learned in kindergarten…be nice to have a review. Speaking of Kindergarteners…Easterling had some stickers sheets to give to his classmates. When Sharon said he would have some extra, he said, “Good, I can sell the rest on the bus.”
