I haven’t made any video or blogs posts in a while. Yeah, I know. Since my boss is back in town, I’ve actually had to work. Yesterday I spent much of the day running around town looking for lab coats and PDAs (the electronic device, not people making out).
My boss put the commercial I was editing and compositing all last week on his reel. That’s a pretty big deal. Reels for director’s are like a resume (so only the ones he considers the best are included). I’m still to near to the commercial, though. Every time I see it, I still only see the flaws in the composite. I need to not watch it for a couple of weeks and then I’ll be all, “that’s pretty cool.”
